Mushirase’s stage play “NAITOSHINJUKU TRAP-HOLE” will be performed at Shinjuku Theater Tops, Tokyo, from July 16 (Tue) to 21 (Sun).
Mushirase was launched in 2008 by its leader, Moe Hosaka, as a theater production unit. The company features a script that gives an oblique view of what is wrong in people’s minds, and experimental spatial art by YONEROCK, an illustrator and member of Mushirase.
The performance will be set in Shinjuku, a place that holds a special place in Hosaka’s heart, and will feature a story centered on Hiroshige Utagawa and Meshimori Onna.Hosaka wrote and directs, and the cast includes Kazushi Watanabe, Nagisa Takano, Shuhei Izumi, Kantaro Fujio, Mizuki Ono, Sachi Nagata (Kaki Ku kyaku), Kyohei Tsuji (Kawaii konbini tenin Iida-san), Arata Sato, Yurika Seto (Seinendan), Tetsuo Tsuka, Misato Kikuchi, Miki Watanabe, Soka Motomizu, and Yoshiki Arizono.
