Mochi Mochi’s stage play “Nannnan Zutto Kono Kaze” will be performed at Izumo Gallery in Waseda, Tokyo, on May 25 (Sat.) and 26 (Sun.).
Mochi Mochi, written and directed by Anna Uemaki and Hanako Tomioka, changed its name from “Theater Unit Mochi Mochi” to the current team name on April 2. As Theater Unit Mochimochi, they performed “Maison de lemon ni Sumutsumori” in July 2023.
“Nannnan Zutto Kono Kaze” is a collection of short stories that combine small resistance with a sense of comfort, and is based on the theme of “get a bit angry” a half-step forward from the “faint expectation of life” depicted in the previous performance of “Maison de lemon ni Sumutsumori” .
