A-Masso’s Aiko Kanou’s novel is published in the December issue of Bungakukai, a coming-of-age novel featuring a high school girl.

Aiko Kanou of the comedy duo “A-Masso” will have her mid-length novel “Kainaide” published in the December issue of “Bungakukai” (Bungeishunju), which will be published on Tuesday, November 7, 2012.

In 2020, Kanou published a collection of essays, “Iruka mo Oyoguwai.” (Chikuma Shobo) and a collection of her novels “Kore wa chauka” (Kawade Shobo Shinsha) in 2022, and her essay collection “Gyogiwa Warui ga Tenki wa Ii” (Shinchosha) will be published on November 16 (Thursday).

This will be the third time that Kanou’s work has been published in Bungakukai, and so far she has published the short story “Stained Glass” and the medium-length novel “Kiiroi ka kiiroku nai ka”. The main character of “Kawainaide” is a coming-of-age novel about a high school girl, Chihiro, who is pondering her relationships and comments at her classmates, family, part-time job, and other places.
