A retrospective of director Arnaud Desplechin will be held.
This project commemorates the release of Arnaud Desplechin ‘s latest film, “Brother and Sister” on September 15 (Fri.). The screening will start on September 8 (Fri.) at Institut français du Japon – Tokyo in Iidabashi, Tokyo, and will be followed by a special screening at the 45th Pia Film Festival on September 16 (Sat.).
The screening will include all feature films and documentaries that have not been shown in theaters in Japan. At the Institut Franco-Japonais de Tokyo,”La Vie des morts”、”The Sentinel”、”My Sex Life… or How I Got into an Argument”、”Esther Kahn”、”Kings and Queen”、”L’aimee”、”A Christmas Tale”、”Jimmy P: Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian”、”My Golden Days”、”Ismael’s Ghosts”、”Oh Mercy!”and”Deception”.
Director Arnaud Desplechin will also visit Japan to coincide with the release of his latest film. A video message from Desplechin is also available for Japanese audiences.
