With his vibrant voice and expressive intonation, he performs a wide range of classic rakugo stories, from humorous tales to heartwarming tales, and incorporates modern gags into classic rakugo. His ever-evolving style is what makes him so appealing. He performs on stages with approximately 900 seats a year, and is also active in a wide range of fields, including dramas, variety shows, radio, books, and CDs.
