Helsinki Lambda Club, a genre-blurring trio from Chiba, Japan, has been redefining the indie rock scene since their formation in the summer of 2013. Fronted by the charismatic Kaoru Hashimoto (Vo, G), with the rhythmic backbone of Kota Inaba (B, Cho) and the dynamic guitar stylings of Taiki Kumagai (G), the band has carved a unique space with their quirky charm and fearless creativity.

In 2023, they celebrated a decade of sonic exploration with their third full-length album, Welcome to Helsinki Lambda Club, a vibrant invitation to their ever-evolving world. 2024 saw them stepping onto the international stage with performances at SXSW in the U.S. and The Great Escape in Brighton, marking their inaugural UK tour. They capped off the year with the release of their experimental EP, Monthly Escape, and launched the aptly titled Escape from the Winter General tour, bringing their genre-defying energy to 11 cities across Japan. Always pushing boundaries, Helsinki Lambda Club continues to craft music that's as unpredictable as it is unforgettable.

This Japanese band has a growing fan base among music lovers in Japan and abroad. The band features a wide range of musical styles created by Suzuki Xun, world-view vocals by Inoue Kazuki, tight and flexible rhythm drumming by Isomoto Yuta, and support members who join in the best possible way to express their music. The scale of their one-man live shows has been expanding each time they perform, with a sold-out show at Zepp Shinjuku in November 2024, and upcoming shows at Osaka Castle Concert Hall and Tokyo International Forum Hall C in April 2025.

Born in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture in 1979. While a student at Berklee College of Music, he signed a contract with the prestigious jazz label Telarc and made his world debut in 2003 with the album “Another Mind”. Since then, he has released a series of albums as his own trio, project, solo, and collaborations with Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, Akiko Yano, and others. He won the 53rd Grammy Award for “Best Contemporary Jazz Album,” ranked No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Jazz Chart, and appeared on the cover of “Downbeat” twice. Hiromi's Sonicwonder “OUT THERE”, to be released in April 2025, will be his 14th leader album.

Video director, born December 28, 1968 in Tokyo. He made his film directorial debut in 2011 with “Moteki. In 2011, he made his debut as a film director with “Moteki,” for which he also wrote and directed “Bakuman. and “SUNNY: Strong Feelings, Strong Love,” which he directed and wrote the screenplay for, were released in theaters. Recently, he directed the drama “Elpis: Hope or Disaster” (2022) and directed and wrote the script for the Netflix series “The Groundhog” (2024).

The band is led by singer-songwriter Itaru Uchimura (Vo / Gt), who interprets rock, folk, country, and other genres in his own unique way to create strange music, and is joined by Satofumi Ito (Key), Hidekazu Nagai (Pf), Takuma Motomura (Ba), and Kei Sunai (Ds). By melding diverse grooves together, the band's sound is somehow nostalgic, yet new and thrilling.

Born in 1990. Musician. Head of the independent label “hermine”. Since her debut in 2010, she has released eight original albums. Her delicate sound centered around classical guitar, dreamlike vocals, and poetic worldview have earned her high acclaim both domestically and internationally. She began full-scale overseas performances in 2021 and has appeared at numerous international music festivals. In January 2025, she celebrated her 15th anniversary since debut. Her new album, ‘Luminescent Creatures’, released in February, marked her first new work in about four years. In May of the same year, she published her first essay collection, ‘Star Sands’.

1955年、長崎県生まれ。劇作家 / 演出家 / 役者。東京大学在学中に「劇団 夢の遊眠社」を結成し、数々の名作を生み出す。1992 年、劇団解散後ロンドンに留学。帰国後の1993年に「NODA・MAP」を設立。『キル』『赤鬼』『パンドラの鐘』『THE　BEE』(原作 筒井康隆「毟りあい」)『ザ・キャラクター』『エッグ』『逆鱗』『足跡姫～時代錯誤冬幽霊～』『贋作 桜の森の満開の下』『フェイクスピア』『兎、波を走る』『正三角関係』など、数々の話題作を発表。オペラの演出、歌舞伎の脚本・演出を手がけるなど、現代演劇の枠を超えた精力的な創作活動を行う。また、海外の演劇人とも積極的に創作を行い、これまで日本を含む13ヶ国38都市で上演。2023年1月、舞台芸術界におけるその国際的な活動を評価され、ISPA2023で優秀アーティスト賞「Distinguished Artist
Award」を日本人初受賞。2009年10月、名誉大英勲章OBE受勲。2009 年度朝日賞受賞。2011年6月、紫綬褒章受章。2025年3月、日本芸術院会員。

He is popular as one of the most difficult rakugo performers to get tickets for. He was recognized as a "real deal" by Master Yanagiya Kosanji, a Living National Treasure, and was selected as one of the "50 Rakugo performers you should listen to now" as a young performer. With his vibrant voice and expressive intonation, he performs a wide range of classic rakugo stories, from humorous tales to heartwarming tales, and incorporates modern gags into classic rakugo. His ever-evolving style is what makes him so appealing. He performs on stages with approximately 900 seats a year, and is also active in a wide range of fields, including dramas, variety shows, radio, books, and CDs.

劇作家・脚本家。東京生まれ。早稲田大学第一文学部文芸専修卒。2007年に日本劇作家協会・戯曲セミナーに参加し、翌年より井上ひさし氏に師事。09年、劇団「てがみ座」を旗揚げ。15 年、てがみ座『地を渡る舟』にて文化庁芸術祭賞演劇部門新人賞。16年に演劇ユニット「る・ばる」の『蜜柑とユウウツ～茨木のり子異聞～』にて鶴屋南北戯曲賞、18年に劇団青年座『砂塵のニケ』、てがみ座『海越えの花たち』、PARCO PRODUCE『豊饒の海』にて紀伊國屋演劇賞個人賞、2020年に世田谷パブリックシアター『現代能楽集X『幸福論』̃能「道成寺」「隅田川」より』にて読売演劇大賞選考委員特別賞を受賞。近年はテレビドラマなど映像作品の脚本も執筆しており、23年には NHK 連続テレビ小説「らんまん」の脚本にて令和５年度文化庁芸術選奨新人賞、第32回橋田賞（作品賞）を受賞。

Born in Chiba Prefecture in 1995. In 2018, while enrolled at the University of Tokyo Graduate School, she won the Grand Prix in the Special Category at the PTNA Piano Competition, launching her professional music career. In 2021, she was selected as a semi-finalist at the International Chopin Piano Competition. She also performs under the name “Cateen” on YouTube, where she has over 1.5 million subscribers. In 2024, she released her worldwide debut album ‘Human Universe’ on Sony Classical and successfully held a solo concert at Nippon Budokan. Her latest album ‘CHOPIN ORBIT’ was released in January 2026. Currently based in New York, she is actively performing both domestically and internationally.
