1970年生まれ。アメリカ・オレゴン州ポートランド出身、ドラマー / マルチプレイヤーで、エンジニア、プロデュサーの顔も持ち、その活動は多岐に渡る。1990年、シカゴのミュージシャンたちとともにTortoiseを結成、これまでに7枚のアルバムを発表。2025年10月には、約9年ぶりとなる新作のリリースを控える。
