映画監督。1981年生まれ。東京都出身。高校卒業後、石井輝男監督に師事。実写映画の現場から映像制作を始め、そのかたわらアニメーション制作を始める。初長編監督作品『音楽』は、アニメーション界のアカデミー賞として名高い米アニー賞のノミネートをはじめ、オタワ国際アニメーション映画祭でグランプリを受賞するなど、国内外の多数の映画賞で高い評価を受ける。
