Experimental Notebook of “Music x Comedy” (in conjunction with “Late Night Honey”)

A comprehensive variety of comedians, “Late Night Hachimitsu! Bee The TOP” a.k.a. ”Late Night Hachimitsu! Bee The TOP,” or ‘Late Night Hachimitsu,’ is the latest incarnation of Fuji Television's late-night comedy program, which has produced a number of popular programs.

In the summer of 2024, a project titled “Major Debut Contest! Hachifes” will be launched in the summer of 2024. The number of views on TikTok and audience votes for live performances on a special stage at “Odaiba King of Adventure 2024” will determine the winner, who will officially debut on a CD from Sony Music. One group will be chosen to make their official CD debut with Sony Music.

The Pocket Biscuits, Black Biscuits, Noaru, Shame Shinshin, 800 yen per hour, and many more have had hit songs born from variety shows. We interviewed the eight groups who are striving to follow in the footsteps of their predecessors to document the chemical changes in “music x comedy.
