#Shinobu Kawai
Born in Tokyo in 1971, he formed the band "SUPER JUNKY MONKEY" with members he met when he was 18, debuted on Sony Records in 1994, and continued his activities while traveling back and forth between Japan and the U.S. He took a temporary break in 1999. Since then, he has participated in various bands and units. Currently active mainly with Otomo Yoshihide Special Big Band, Akira Sakata COCODA, Takeshi Shibuya, KERA & Broken Flowers, Anada Quartet (Kazuhisa Uchihashi), Phnom Penh Model, and others. Loves curry.
